(Drivers Hours / The Professional Driver)
We do this so that you have an understanding of what will be expected of you when you start your job as far as understanding rest periods and hours you can and cannot work.
Also many recruitment agencies will test your knowledge of 'Drivers Hours' before they will engage you with an employer on their books.
Once you complete your Initial Driver CPC you will receive your Driver Qualification Card with a future expiry date of 5 years from when you pass.
You then have those 5 years to do your Periodic Driver CPC (35 hours) and join the other drivers who have 'acquired rights'.
